COVID-19 Treatment

Learn more about COVID-19 treatments

Urban Indian Health Institute (UIHI) is committed to obtaining and sharing accurate information about clinical trials and COVID-19 treatments with our community and has produced resources meant to be used and shared by our American Indian and Alaska Native relatives, tribes, and healthcare facilities serving Indian Country.

COVID-19 Treatments Map

It’s as important as ever for everyone to know where they can get treatment to mitigate the worst outcomes of COVID-19. However, precise information about where to go for these treatments has not been widely available for patients or the providers who treat them.

In response, our team has created and updated an interactive map of COVID-19 treatment locations to now include IHS/Tribal/Urban Health Centers and Veterans Affairs sites for relatives who navigate those health systems along with retail pharmacies and open clinical trials. For each site, we’ve included the type(s) of treatment available, contact information, and more.

Treatments are currently being administered to non-hospitalized patients who test positive for COVID-19 and are most effective when administered within 3–5 days of showing symptoms, depending on treatment type. Access to treatments is limited and may not be available when requested.

Please note that information listed in this map is constantly changing and we will work to keep the map up to date to reflect those changes. All treatment location information is derived from the COVID-19 Public Therapeutic Locator published by HealthData.gov and categorized by UIHI staff.
